I cannot believe it’s pub day! My kindle copy actually downloaded automatically at 9:00pm last night because my kindle must still be set up to East Coast time. What a crazy moment when I first saw my book in my virtual library with all the other books I’ve been reading! Today will be a relaxing, quiet release day. Salted caramel hot cocoa, cozy quilts, and some Gilmore Girls or Shetland. Definitely some reading, and a few hours writing on my next book. This novel has been in the works for so long and I’m happy to have it out in the world, not only because I love it (that cover!!), but also because I haven’t been able to move on to my next project. There were a lot of nerves behind getting this one out there, mainly my own hang-ups thinking the publication process would be too difficult. Now I know it’s nowhere near as bad as I thought…and the next book should be 1000 times easier!!
I have no idea who reads my blog…it’s very new 🙂 But if you find yourself here, and you’re reading this, I just want to say thank you!! The best part of this whole process has been seeing the love and support people pour on new authors. I think its amazing how people are just out there uplifting and supporting one another.
