Wow, how is it mid-January already?? The holiday season definitely consumed me this year, but it was all good! Lots of family time, lots of relaxation, and lots of yummy foods 🙂 I hope all of you are well rested, healthy, and ready to begin the new year!
I’ve been overwhelmed and just incredibly grateful for the tremendous support my friends and family gave me for ‘A Year in Exile’. This has been such an experience and I’ve loved sharing it with everyone in person and on social media. I had people give my book as gifts, take it on vacation, pose it for pictures so I can use them on social media, and I even made it into one dear friend’s Christmas letter! I can’t even explain how much this means to me. To say you guys are the best is such an understatement!
I’ve been working on a couple projects for this year and later this week I’m going to make a separate blog post and social media announcement with some details on my next book! It’s not a sequel to A Year in Exile. I know many people have asked me if there will be one, and to be honest, I’m not sure. I didn’t write it to have a sequel, but I’m playing around with the idea to see if it could work. For now, I’m working on three totally different things for this year, I’m a little all over the place, and I’m hoping I can focus and get one of them published before summer. We’ll see, lol!
