Proof copies are here!

Yesterday was such an exciting day! I finally received the proof copies of A Year in Exile. It was very surreal to hold a copy in my hands after all this time. It has taken me about two years to write this book. It’s not the writing process itself that held me back, it was more the daunting task of getting it ready to upload to kdp. Like most things, the worry and fear were far worse than the actual event. Although I do have a couple things to fix here and there, for the most part the process was very straightforward. I did forgot to check my font, which gave me a book with HUGE lettering. I kinda like it for doing my review, but I’ll have to get that fixed before publication which will affect the look of my cover. Bummer! But….it’s here!! I’m excited! I’m on the final steps before getting it published 🙂
